So, it is 4:23 AM on a Sunday morning, and I am wide awake. I had recently decided that I have neglected my blog, and I really want to start blogging again. I could not even begin to sum up my life since I last blogged, but I am content with my life, and my job. I will continue with BZZagent posts, some personal posts, and maybe some freebies here and there. Hope you like what is to come!

It has been so long since I have faithfully posted to my blog. And I am so sorry!

I have had so much going on in my personal life, and consumed working 50 hours a week! I have trimmed my work schedule down greatly because a great friend once told me, "Don't ever get too busy making a living that you forget to make a life" So, I had to choose to make my life~

I am here this evening with an exciting bit of bzz for you! As you may all know as I have posted before, I belong to a "wom" word of mouth marketing company called bzzagent. It gives you a chance to try products and spread the word!

Hannah Montana the Movie?

I took my daughters out for a girls day out Thursday, took them to eat, and then to a movie. My girls being aged 7, 9, and 11 wanted to see Hannah Montana the Movie.

And WOW, it was actually good. I cried during a couple of parts. It had a really good storyline, and I think it was well acted. Billy Ray Cyrus did leave a little to be desired in the acting department though. But he was NOT horrible.

It is amazing how HUGE Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus has become. It is like a household name anymore!!

So, did anyone else watch it and like it like I did?

Children's Claritin

Well, it is allergy season, and my kids always seem to have a flare up at this time of year.
Some of my children are worse than others. But, there is something that really helps them a great deal and that is Childrens Claritin. It provides non-drowsy relief so I can send them to school with this medication and they are not groggy while trying to learn.

I like the chewable tablets for my 7 year old and she does not mind the taste at all. And, it's the #1 pediatrician recommended non-drowsy brand. IN addition to chewables, they have a syrup form, and reditabs as well. So, you can see which your child likes and tolerates best if you have a child with allergies.

YAY! Ok, I know I get too wrapped up in characters on my shows, but I can't help it!

I am SO glad Melinda is pregnant, and that it happened BEFORE Jim's accident.

I really have to admit, I do not like the current storyline, only the part where Jim is Sam. I am glad that Jim has HIS own memories back, and although we as the viewers see Jim, except for those silly mirror shots, everyone else does not see Jim, so it is weird.

I can't wait to see what next season brings for Ghost Whisperer!!

Swine Flu - Scary or Hyped up by the media?

Ok, personally, generally I do panic when things like this happen. Back in 2001 when we had that whole anthrax in the mail thing, I was a basketcase. I was convinced me, my hubby and children would all get Anthrax and die.

My anxiety over such things has eased up, but this swine flu has me a little bit scared, admittedly. I am not overly scared like I was with the anthrax thing, but, I am scared.

It is just scary that they continue to discover new cases of this etc. So, how do YOU feel about the Swine Flu? Are you scared or taking it easy with this?

This is just such a good video, I love the music with the video of Dale.
Now, I was never a HUGE Nascar fan, but I recall all the Sunday's when we had just one TV in the house, and I was forced to watch it. And, well I heard my step dad hoop and holler for Dale, so I guess I sorta, kinda liked it in time.

When Dale was killed, I was so sad. I was relatively young, or youngER as I recall. And I just cried, and cried. And a couple of days after, they had some tribute thing on ABC and it was set to this song. Which is the Bob Segar Band's song, "Still the Same"

The song was catchy, not so much to me then, but it is now. I love the song, it fits Dale perfectly, and it also reminds me so much of my Uncle James too. Just those lyrics, because James was sort of just always on the top of things. He was good, and he knew he was good, and did not mind to tell people just how good he was at whatever he endeavored to do. That was his personality.

Thrift Store find of the day..

Well, anyone who knows me well, knows that I go thrift store shopping pretty much every Wednesday. I love to find things and get good bargains. Well, today I found some clothes for me and the kids. And I got a LOT of books, and I do mean a lot LOL. As if I don't have enough as it is. So, I got pretty much a whole garbage bag full of books today.

There is a good variety that I got, but the stack you will see is the spiritual stack only. I am trying to categorize my mess of books.

So, here is what I got today....

I have literally read every book you can see there. Some, I have read twice. Depends on how well I like it.

Surprisingly, I have NOT read nor do I even have the Twilight books. But, I am secretly hoping once Michelle and I get our book exchange going that she will send those. :D

Playing with Photoshop

I have been dying to photoshop something, anything. So, I decided to play around with one of my hubby's pictures. I gave him a tattoo, because he is a crybaby and wont get one for real. So, I will have to settle with the digital variety.

It makes him look so HOT though, if only he was covered with em. Think, Prison Break tats. YUM YUM! So, anyway, you can see the before and after below.

Oh, and I HAVE to throw this in, the pic was taken at the Crazy Donkey in Long Island, NY, we were there seeing James Marsters in concert. That is a luscious man. Even though he no longer has that bleached blonde hair, he still looks so hot. I will blog about that one at another time LOL.. So much to tell there!

Well I was trying to duplicate an effect I found on this chicks Myspace. Well, by gum I just can't duplicate the effect, its really porcelainy...Is that a word? LOL... I played with this one a little bit, minus the vignette effect Bunny told me to add. I don't like it. Still not satisified. Bunny told me Lightroom I think it was, was a good program. So, I may try to get that, soon! I wanna edit my pictures. Hmmm, how am I gonna edit myself to make myself pretty and not fat? LOL...

Well, we finally got a little bit of snow today to go along with the extreme cold temperatures. Not that it was a lot of snow, and it pretty much melted as soon as it hit! But, it was fun for the kids, and Madison was more than excited! So, I was stuck at the computer working, as usual. I sent Emily out to snap some pics of the snow, so I could blog about it~ So, here are a few pics of the snow! (It wasn't much, but was enough to excite the kids, none the less.)

Christmas Creativity

Ok, so for Christmas, my stepdaughter wanted the trademark apparently in style boots with the little pom-pom balls and all. Well, I could not find any boots like that anywhere, 3 days before Christmas and shopping on a budget, the boots I did find were way overpriced. So, I figured well if I can find a pair with fur, then I can go to Michael's Arts and Crafts and get the stuff to do the own little pom=pom balls and the string.

So, I did just that. I got the boots as you can see pre-made at Kmart for like $25 and since our budget per kid was a little bit more meager this year than the norm, I done pretty darn good. I went to Michael's who by the way also had some AWESOME stocking stuffers for $1.00, so I grabbed some stocking stuffers while I was there. Anyway, I got the little Pom-poms for the boots for like $5.00 and the string used for the boots was like $4.00 so I have like $34.00 in these boots. Not bad, considering every pair I seen with this particular style was at least $75.00

So, overall I thought I did pretty well, and my Step-daughter LOVED them! So, she was very happy opening these up! So, are you ever crafty? I can be SOMETIMES. I definitely lack in that creative flair that some people have, but sometimes I can just do it. :)

Me and Mom and 2nd night out - CANCELLED

You know what, it was COLD last night, we are talking like single digit cold. Mom and I went to JcPenney and she bought me a few outfits (surprisingly). Well, Mom can be so goodhearted, she tries. I got 2 really cute shirts, and a skirt set for church. So, I am happy.

After we went shopping, we went to Brothers Pizza in Staunton. My aunt owns a part of it, so we do all eat there when we get a chance. I was worried I would not be able to eat anything since my diet is challenging at best, but I ordered a salad and that went well. We took some pics of me and mom, and my Mom and her sister Barbie. All in all, Mom and I got some one on one time with one another, and had a good time. I can't tell you the last time Mom and I had a night out.

I am grateful that Mom and I had a night out just she and I, and I wish we could do it more often, my treat too. Maybe take her out and buy her something for no reason like she did me. :)

So, my hubby and I were talking, and we decided maybe we should NOT have our night out tonight because it is soooo cold outside, you walk out there, and the cold slices through you like a knife. No lie, it is THAT cold! And to top it off, it is that cold and NO snow! That is the sucky part, I could almost stand the cold, if there was a little snow to back it up. Hubby thinks I just don't want to go out with him. That could not be further from the truth. I really do. But, man I cannot stand that cold. And I would rather stay in this house in my PJ's all day long. So, maybe Hubby and I can plan our night out together for next weekend, or the weekend after when hopefully it is not THIS freaking cold. I cannot stand cold. I would rather be sweltering in 100 degree heat, for real!

Girls Night Out

Well, my Mom and I are having a girls night out tonight. She has been going through some pretty tough times, and she just need to let go a little and have some girl time. Awkward much? Me and my Mother out together? LOL....That should be an adventure.

Tomorrow night will be me and my hubby's night out. We plan on going to Red Lobster since we have so many gift cards to use there. LOL..

Graphics Addiction...

So, I got this awesome 250GB External HD ages ago. But, guess what? It's like 20GB close to being full, WHY you may ask? I have a huge graphics addiction, especially when it comes to Digital Scrap booking. I have way too many kits, actions etc. And I don't get much of a chance to use them, I did work on a blogger layout for a friend tonight using Microferk's Black Ice kit. That turned out Ok, I am so anal, as long as my girl was happy, it's all good. :)

So, in short I am addicted to graphics, but no it is not just scrapbooking kits, its Paint Shop Pro Tubes, Masks, FONTS!! You name it and I bet I have thousands of whatever! I also love DeviantArt! That is one really awesome website!

Ok, so here is one kit I am really really LOVING right now, and it is the next one I want to use to scrap a pic, but when oh when will I find the time?

I cannot wait to get my hands into this kit and do something with it. I am really lacking creativity at the moment, but I am going to try to do something with it SOON! LOL...

So, I just went to one of my favorite celeb blogs. PerezHilton.com...And lo and behold Prison Break has been cancelled. Secretly, I think Perez like to break some meak little hearts like mine. I LOVE Prison Break, I mean cant they throw Wentworth in there, in prison again just for eye candy purposes. I mean, WHAT AM I GONNA WATCH?!

I am going to miss seeing Wentworth and Dominic on the small screen. But, I have a feeling Prison Break has launched their careers a good bit for them and they will do well. I didn't really like the direction this season was going in anyway. I mean come on, their mom is ALIVE and their opposition? Not cool. Plus, just as soon as the writers make Bellick a character you actually LIKE, they kill him off. No closure there. Plus, we never seen a body from that chinese dude Kim. How do we know the assassin from this season is dead too? I hope they can wrap up the season gracefully, and answer all those unanswered questions!

Stripper Mail

Well, I went out today to do some errands, and checked my mail before I went. I get a card in the mail, well *I* didn't get it, it was addressed to my husband. It was a normal Christmas card, no signature or anything. Inside the card were 2 little coupons for a free lap dance from some stripper named Giselle something or other. OK, so either this chick purchased a mailing list online, OR, someone gave my hubby's address for some reason or another.

On the coupon, it has her myspace URL. And me being well me, could not resist. I had to email her on there and tell her that my husband wasn't big on sleaze. So, I did. And I told her she needed to go to one of the VH1 shows such as Rock of Love for a good hook up and exposure. I mean, that's all they ever are on there, right? White trash, well Ambre wasn't. And neither is one of the new chicks. Cant recall her name, one from ROL Bus.

So anyway, I call him and I didn't curse him out, but I asked him why he would be getting it? I feel like it is probably spam mail. BUT, in the same day now, he gets a text message for some viagra thing. OK, if it is personal, they don't know my Doodle, because he simply does not need viagra. LOL.. So, I figure the stripper mail is spam. And, the viagra thing, well I know that was.

Moving on from that, Kyle XY came back on last night & *YAY*..It did not disappoint at all. Even though we were in such a long hiatus before this season premiered. I liked it! I missed the Bachelor last night, I think my DVR was on overload.

Those of you with male dogs will know what I mean, I freaked out and thought I had to take him to the vet!!! So I called Pam, my saviour when I need something and she said it would just take some time. Thank you Pam LOL....
Hannah also bought 2 more god forsaken fish, I want to get rid of the tank but they keep bringing them in!!! I still have 3 of the 6 original ones, and I swear to god those things have lived every bit of 2 years at least. THEY WONT DIE!! Is that mean??? I just ahte cleaning the tank, and I am always stuck with that one, hubby will clean everything BUT the fish tank.
And then, Haley got a nasty hamster, and I never realized how dirty they are. Its an Alaskan Drawf hamster, cute little bitty fella, but the cage gets dirty very quick!!

Well boo hoo, the French Quarter is in a funk. They claim it is so safe. Well let me tell you....I spent my time in New Orleans, I am in the process of writing a book that will be published that tells of MY experiences in the dreaded New Orleans. From my personal experience, 75% of the people I met during the course of my stay in the big easy, and those I have kept in touch with post Katrina will not EVER go back to living there. Some of the people I met, I dont know if they are alive. God willing they are, but I dont know.Who the hell would want to go through what happened there and GO BACK? We were stuck for DAYS on end with no rescue in sight. No food, limited water supply, no AC in sweltering heat, and I could go on and on. What happened in New Orleans for the storm and one week following is one of the worst tragedies in American History...the reason being our government stalled to get there. I was stuck there as a tourist, no one came, no cell phone signal, and horrible conditions. You had to loot to survive, literally. Once you got to the dome, they did feed us MRE's which actually were not bad after having NOTHING to eat for 4 days and sweltering to death. So why would ANYONE want to go back to New Orleans? People don't want to go back there and with good reason. To heck with Bourbon Street and the french quarter. Bourbon street is just a druggie, prostitute place filled with bars so you can get drunk and do bad things.
If you are from New Orleans, and you dont like what I am saying, I sincerely do not give a crap. I almost died there, I went to the Superdome because everyone said that it was shelter and food there and it was safe. Shelter, and Safe? Ok whatever. It was a huge portable potty which people defecated anywhere they could squat. I waited in line 19 hours for a bus, watching people pass me in line thinking I was some pushover. Finally, I stood up and didn;t allow anyone to pass me. Hey, I had kids and a husband at home wondering if I was even ALIVE, I HAD to get on one of those buses to call my husband.
All of this because I was a whore, not worthy of riding in my friends vehicle, I will call her Laney to protect me. If you want the whole story check out the book when it comes out. Trust me, a lot of it will shock you and surprise you, and you will know what the media DIDN'T tell you from beginning to end.

So, today makes 8 days since the root canal. I expected to go in, come out and be just fine. But ME, noooo I cant ever just be normal. I have been through 8 days of pain, 8 days on some of the strongest narcotics, 8 days on antibiotics and 8 days of looking like a swarm of bees stung me all over the face. I have been to the hospital 2 times. And to the dentist 3 or 4 now. They call it, "just one of those freak things that happen to 1 in a million" OK WHAT EVER.....if this freak thing happens to 1 in a million people, then where are the other 2 in the united states who look like they have edema on their face???
I am tired of living on mashed potatoes and jello. I want some good food! So, I went from NO pain and having a root canal done, cuz the x ray said I had to. To having the most excruciating pain in my life. I have had 3 kids, and Id have a hundred more before I would EVER EVER have this done again. I am tired of working from the laptop in the bed because I cant lift my head because I am in a Lortab fog. Loving the Lortabs though, man oh man....I have so many narcotics sitting around right now it is pathetic. Most of them didnt help. I look like a regular pharmacy on my nightstand. And, you know through all this, I have considered joining the circus to be a sideshow freak. The cute chick with the swollen face. Those who know me and have talked to me on the phone know I sound like a trainwreck.
Anyway, enough rambling. I am back to the dentist Monday to see how I am coming along or if I will have to go to an oral surgeon. We shall see then....

A long awaited family night, me, hubby and kids and a nice dinner and movie. The kids have been at me for ages to take them somewhere and finally I get time to do so. Work is killing me man!! I work way too much, so much I have time for NOTHING!!! I took 2 days off this week and they were filled with appointments and running, I cant wait for a normal day off, one where I can sleep till 2 or 3 and be lazy. So anyway, I wanted to go see Pans Labyrinth, but it is all sub titled and thats not going to go over well for the 5 year old, and they say it is more adult gothic anyway. Nothing else really childrenish is playing so we will find something else to do.
We really need a Chuck E Cheese around here. It would be good for the kids. As of now theres not shit to do. The only thing I can even think of is bowling and ugg who wants to do that??? LOL...
We have signed up for family time at the gym, so we will all go together, maybe instill some good workout habits in the youngins.

So who watched??? I was SO surprised that T-bag let the woman and her children go. I think it showed a lot of his character and that he really loved her, in spite of as he put it the bad Bagwell blood line.
Looks like Michael (swoon), Linc, and Sarah have what they need and Kellerman is going after the president herself. Linc will finally be exonerated on the charges, but what will they do about Michael, he really did fire a weapon in a robbery, so will they realize that he did it just to get in to get his brother out because of a huge government conspiracy, or will they make him do time?
That remains to be told. BUT, I do know this much! There IS going to be a season 3, and we have 5 weeks roughly until finale of the current season. WHAT WILL I WATCH IN BETWEEN????
I guess I could rewatch all 7 seasons of Buffy, and 5 of Angel. Can never get enough Spike in a days time. No, not Spike my dog, Spike the sexy vamp.
Back to Prison Break, we are down to 4 of the original Fox River 8, C-note getting arrested, Patoshik dead, Aposkos dead, and Abruzzi the mob boss dead. That leaves us with Link, Michael, Sucre and T-bag. I am really interested to see how the T-bag story plays out. From what the director has dished, more will die. I have come to like T-bag and Sucre, and of course the brothers, and Sarah, so I don't want to see any of them go.
And I do beleive that William Fichtner's character (Mahone) is going to turn good. And about damn time, he was the bad guy in Invasion and now in Prison Break he is a bad guy! Thanks to my delectable Kentucky friend Bunny, he is now known as Sheriff Creepy for his role on Prison Break.
OH and check this, I have Nathan Baesel on my friends list on MySpace, and he played Deputy Lewis Sirk on there. Anyone who was an Invasion fan will remember him because Sheriff Creepy made him cut his arm back off after he went into the water!!!! Anyway, Nathan is a GREAT guy. I have talked with him in email, and he even took pictures when saveinvasion.com flew a banner over the ABC studio in Cali. So much for that, guess that didn't work out! Wish they would at least tell us what the hell Sheriff Creepy did with Larkin in the water!!!
Anyway, this is turning into a huge ramble, sorry but I am sleepy so I tend to ramble.

I am going through this, and I am not sure how to handle it at the moment. I dont trust anyone as it is, most of those who are my friends will know this. Ok, so those who are close to me know I went to Fangorias Weekend of Horrors convention, and 2 concerts at the Crazy Donkley in Long Island, NY.
All this to meet the finest man in existence. And damn if he aint fine in person.
He is such an unbeleivable humble person. Grateful to his fans, and all about eye contact. AND a huge flirt at that!
So Friday he done a Q & A. He answered some awesome questions, and afterwards he done an autograph signing. We also had Photos together Friday, I was so nervous, and my picture showed it. I told him I was nervous, and he said if I knew what a big goof he was, I wouldnt be. The more I talked to him over the weekend, the better I got with it all.
Saturday, I went to the concerts at the Crazy Donkey, he had 2 sets he played at 2pm, then again at 6pm. He was more than awesome in concert. I was like near the front row. So, it kicked ass!!!
At the concert he said he could sense an impending orgy....yeah if hes the main participant. LOL... A bunch of women screaming and lusting after him. UH huh....
Sunday, he had another Q & A. Another autograph signing, and more pictures. This time my picture is better. I told him I wanted him to spice it up so as not to have the same pose as Friday. He said how about we just embrace, and Ill look into your eyes as if there is no one here but you and I, and we will be in love for the moment. So, we looked into each others eyes like we were completely in love.
I thought I would die.
But, I have learned so much about him in going to the convention. He is such a great person, and I dont see him as a "celebrity" anymore. Though he is by all rights.
He is a person, he has emotions, he enoys it when his fans actually LIKE his music, and is rather surprised by it as well. He is so humble, and kind. I just cant beleive it. But, what could you expect from a great person?
So all in all, the trip was AWESOME!!! I cant wait to go see him again, hes in Atlanta end of August, and Im going to bust my ass to get to Dragon Con to see him!
Spike lives in a sense. James likes to be known for James, and not some celebrity. And he has convinved me, hes not JUST Spike, but SO MUCH MORE.

He told me to go grab it, so we could take our picture together! So I had to go all the way tot he 4th floor, and he WAITED for me! Yes, he did!
Anyway, to sum it up, he was fucking awesome, tanned, and he sparkled damn!! He just had a glow to him that was unreal. I will post pictures at some point, I am going through the recovery process now, since I accidentally reformatted my external HD.

When something happens...they say it happens for a reason.
But when you lose someone you love more than life itself, then why does that moment stay burned in our memory forever?
Who do we lose the ones we love for any reason?
Why does cancer exist? Is this our modern day plague?
Ive spent my morning crying and just reflecting back on the events of one year ago today.
The day I watched my uncle take his last breath and begged him not to go.
I know hes in a better place, though Im not the most religious person, I know there is something better than this life we live.
I hope he is there, and I hope he met my Nanny when she crossed over as well.

Sometimes in life, you have to stop and wonder about your friends. Your REAL friends.
Well, I sure do. I have friends, a select few who I choose to call friends.

But recently, trust issues have developed. So, what do you do in those cases?

Me, I am just pretending like nothing is any different. But why do I do that? I dont know to be honest with you. It bothers me to no end.

When friends become friends with someone whom you dont trust you come to question some things.

With a good memory you catch your friends in lies, simple but lies just the same. Friends do NOT lie to friends. No matter what the case is. If it cant be said, say it, I cant tell you that. But dont freaking lie~

What is a friend?

-a person you know well and regard with affection and trust; "he was my best friend at the university"
-ally: an associate who provides assistance; "he's a good ally in fight"; "they were friends of the workers"
-acquaintance: a person with whom you are acquainted; "I have trouble remembering the names of all my acquaintances"; "we are friends of the family"

So, taking the first definition, a person you know well and regard with affection and trust. How can you regard someone with affection and trust after they have violated that trust?

Do you forget it, move on? What? Me, I hang in there thinking my friends are my friends and always will be. But I question it more. I think maybe I will start to isolate myself from some people. You know?
